BN 2019 Adopted Budget

On June 19, 2017 the City Council adopted the Approved 2018-2019 Biennial Budget and 2018-2023 Capital Improvement Plan in addition to performing several other budgetary actions.

On April 25, 2017 West Linn City Manager Eileen Stein presented the proposed budget for the 2018-19 biennium to the Citizen's Budget Committee. The Committee had additional meetings with public comment on May 4, May 10, and May 17. The Budget Committee recommended approval of the Proposed Budget with a few changes on May 17. The Approved Budget was provided to the Council for review and adoption on June 19, 2017.

This biennial budget was prepared in accordance with Oregon budget law and was awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Governmental Financial Officers Association (GFOA).

The GFOA national award program recognizes outstanding budget documents that meet program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device.
