BN 2021 Adopted Budget
On June 24, 2019 the City Council adopted the Approved 2020-2021 Biennial Budget and 2020-2025 Capital Improvement Plan in addition to performing several other budgetary actions.
On April 22, 2019 West Linn City Manager Eileen Stein presented the proposed budget for the 2020-21 biennium to the Citizen's Budget Committee. The Committee had additional meetings with public comment on April 25, April 29 and April 30, 2019. The Budget Committee recommended approval of the Proposed Budget with a few changes on April 30th. The Approved Budget was provided to the Council for review and adoption on June 24, 2019.
This biennial budget was prepared in accordance with Oregon budget law and was submitted for and expected to receive the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Governmental Financial Officers Association (GFOA).
The GFOA national award program recognizes outstanding budget documents that meet program criteria as a policy document, as an operations guide, as a financial plan, and as a communications device.
