Grants
Grant Funding
The City regularly seeks out and applies for competitive grant funding from a myriad of federal, state, and private sources to accomplish projects and make important purchases that we may not be able to do with our limited resources. The City has a great track record of successfully acquiring grants for a range of items from police bulletproof vests to parks restroom/trail/boat ramp improvements, economic and tourism enhancements to millions of dollars for Highway 43 streetscape improvements.
West Linn Community Grants
The City of West Linn has a limited amount of funding available for community organizations’ requests for support for their yearly events, operations, and activities. Council typically authorizes a portion of the City's biennial budget towards helping community organizations carry out the important work they do. Applications typically open in the spring. West Linn Emergency Business Grants
The City is always working alongside our business community, including the West Linn Chamber and Historic Willamette Main Street groups, to help promote and support our local businesses. During 2020 and 2021 the City provided three (3) separate rounds of grant funding to help support our local businesses recover from the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to provide even more grant funding opportunities in 2023 to our local businesses.
