This is a friendly reminder that Business Licenses renewals are due to the City by July 1st of every year. If you are currently operating a business in the City of West Linn, and do not have an updated license for the July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 period, please renew as soon as possible.

The entire renewal process is done electronically however, due to recent software changes and review process, the approval time is expected to be slightly longer than previous years. The planning and building departments will review each business to ensure it meets the zoning requirements as stated by our Community Development Code. Once everything is approved you will receive an e-mail with your business license and home occupation permit (if applicable) attached. Please print your license and display it at your place of business.

To renew your business license, click here, register for the Citizenserve site, and apply for a license. Since this is new software we need everyone to register as a new customer (even if the business was previously licensed), and apply for a business license by filling out the entire application. The application will ask if this is a new business or renewal, this is where you will indicate that this is a license renewal. You will be issued a new business license number, which will be your license number going forward.

Once you have completed and submitted your application, payment is requested. You can pay online with a debit or credit card, or Paypal. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, simply print the payment screen and bring or mail in your payment to City Hall at 22500 Salamo Road, 2nd Floor Finance Department, West Linn, Oregon 97068.
