Enforcement of permit violations occur in a three step progression:
First: A written notice of the inspection findings and required corrections.
Second: Should corrections not be implemented, a notice of non-compliance will be issued with the required corrections.
Third: Should corrections remain un-addressed a stop work order will be issued. Additionally, a stop work order may be issued any time a permit violation occurs.
A re-inspection fee ($65.00) may be charged for each erosion inspection that occurs as a follow up to a permit violation. All permits issued on October 30,2002 or thereafter will be based on a deposit system with time spent at each site billed against the deposit. Therefore, a reinspection fee will not be charged, but the time spent will be billed against the deposit.
Upon approval of an erosion inspection, the site will be required to display the posted inspectors approval and public notification at all times.
