The City of West Linn would like to invite all interested parties to a visioning meeting for a new Police and Courts Facility. The City has begun planning for a new Police Station that will also include the Municipal Court.
RESERVES INTERESTED PARTIES:
Residents of the Portland metropolitan area are invited to participate in the urban and rural reserves process and to share their views on the proposed regional reserves map during a public comment period from January 11 to 22.

With the adoption of the 2007 Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan, the City established a conceptual trails network as an integral part of making West Linn a livable city that contributes to the health and wellness of its community members.
WEST LINN - The West Linn Police Department will host an open house at their facility Tuesday evening, January 26, 2009 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The station is located at 22825 Willamette Drive in West Linn. This is an opportunity for residents to tour the current facility and meet the officers.
WEST LINN - Former Portland Trailblazer Brian Grant will match all admission fees and donations collected at Friday's 789 JAM, up to $10,000, with proceeds going to American Red Cross Haiti relief. Cash or checks made payable to American Red Cross will be accepted at the dance, which will be held Friday January 22, 2009 from 7:30-10pm at Willamette Christian Church, 3153 S.
WEST LINN - The 789JAM is a dance set up for 6-9th graders held at the Willamette Christian Church in West Linn. The event is sponsored by the City of West Linn Police, Parks and Recreation Departments, the Church and former Trailblazer Brian Grant. The goal of the 789JAM is to provide a safe, healthy outlet for our youth.

WEST LINN - West Linn Police responded to over fourteen car prowls today, November 2, 2009, which occurred overnight. Most of the cars were unlocked, although a few windows were broken to gain entry.
Items stolen included IPOD mp3 players, GPS units, garage door openers, purses, sunglasses, credit cards and identification.

On June 22, 2009, the City Council unanimously adopted the 2010-2011 budget as approved by the Citizens' Budget Committee. The Citizens' Budget Committee held three meetings and unanimously approved the budget as proposed on Thursday, May 7, 2009.
