Discolored Water in Sunset Area

Earlier this week, we switched to our intertie with Lake Oswego/Tigard to allow for work on the Abernathy Bridge waterline. This meant that the direction of flow changed for some water mains, especially in the Sunset Neighborhood, and as a result particulate which had settled in the pipes was kicked up and is now being noticed. To remove any discoloration we recommend running cold taps in a sink or tub. The water has been through our treatment process and is safe to drink.
