2025 Waterline Replacement -Construction

9/23/25- City staff and contractor conducted a punchlist walk to identify all remaining work. Contractor is working on finishing these items and restoration.

9/15/25- Marylhurst tie-in to take place over the next two days. Site restoration ongoing throughout all project areas. 

9/8/25- Crews repaving the trench on Reed Street section. Paving on Santa Anita and Hidden Springs to take place on 9/9. 

9/2/25- Tie-in to existing water mains taking place at Hidden Spring and Santa Anita and on Parker road. Crews working on restoration throughout the project and landscapers are expected next week to finish cleanup an restoration.

8/25/25- Crews are working on placing meter boxes on Upper Midhill, Arbor, and Dollar. Testing underway on Reed and Parker project sections. 

8/21/25- On Arbor, crews are paving the trench and preparing Upper Midhill for paving on 8/22. Upper Midhill paving will start at 7am and last all day. The road will be closed to through traffic and local traffic will experience delays. There will be no on street parking during paving. 

8/13/25- Crews are tying in on Arbor and will begin switching services today.

8/11/25- Arbor and Upper Midhill will be tied into the broader system and services will be switched to the new main. This work is expected to take the next few days.

8/6/25- The Santa Anita section of the project has been pressure tested and crews are now sanitizing the pipe and preparing for water quality testing before the section is tied into the City system.

7/28/25- Crews installing main on Sunset, Reed, and Parker. 

7/18/25- Crews have begun work on the Reed Street section of the project. Pressure testing underway on Upper Midhill and Dollar portions of the project. 

7/15/25- Work on Santa Anita has begun. Traffic is being flagged from Clubhouse to Hidden Springs. 

7/9/25- Crews have installed the majority of the water main on Dollar. Cleanup on Upper Midhill continues. 

7/8/25- Cleanup and installing hydrants continues on Upper Midhill and Arbor. 

7/3/25- Crews are sawcutting the Dollar Street section of the project with the water main crew beginning work on Dollar on 7/7.

6/30/25- Crews are finishing main installation work on Arbor Drive

6/17/25- Work continues north on Upper Midhill Drive with crews installing services following main installation.

6/12/25- Crews installing new water services between Marylhurst and Robinwood Way and installing a new fire hydrant near Marylhurst Drive.

6/9/25- Work continuing on water main between Marylhurst and Robinwood Way.

6/2/25- Contractor has mobilized to Upper Midhill Drive and is working from Marylhurst towards Arbor.
