Storm Drainage Master Plan Update
The Storm Drainage Master Plan (SDMP) is a support document and is part of the Comprehensive Plan. The last update of the Comprehensive Plan for the SDMP was completed in 1996. A review of the the SDMP was completed in 2006 but did not incorporate updates to provide notice and public hearings to adopt these changes into the Comprhenesive Plan. One of those changes was a name change to Surface Water Management Plan (SWMP) that name change is once again under consideration.
The current update of the begain in 2017, when the City of West Linn engaged in a planning process involving citizens and agency stakeholders to develop the Surface Water Master Plan.
SDMP requires a number of amendments to goals and policies in the Comprehensive Plan, as well as applicable amendments to Chapter 85 of the Community Development Code (CDC).
The Planning Commission will hold a worksession on August 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The Planning Commission will hold a second worksession on September 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 2, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The City Council is tentatively scheduled to hold a worksession on October 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The City Council is tentatively scheduled to hold a public hearing on November 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
