Street Sweeping Program

In order to serve the needs of the community, the city has a dedicated street sweeping program. Established  service levels dicatate that one half of the streets located within the city are swept each month, with each half alternating from month to month. Sweeping generally starts the third week of the month.

The street sweeping schedule is flexible depending on weather and other issues which may arise. For example, frequency of sweeping may increase during fall months when trees are losing leaves and/or after a major storm resulting in an increase of debris within the right-of-way.  Please note that debris along OR-43 (Willamette Drive) is under the jurisdiction of Oregon Departent of Transportation.
