Special West Linn City Council Election to be Held March 14

WEST LINN, OR – Due to the previously reported ballot error, a special election for West Linn’s City Council will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. The Clackamas County Elections Office will begin mailing ballots to West Linn voters on February 22, 2023. Ballots should be postmarked by election day, or dropped off at one of three secure locations below:

The March special election will be conducted exactly as it would have been in November, with the same candidates and the same voter pamphlet material. Only West Linn voters will receive a ballot. 

Separately, on May 16, a special mayoral race will be held due to the early resignation of former mayor Jules Walters, who was recently elected to the Oregon House of Representatives. Candidate applications will be accepted through March 16.
