The City of West Linn is committed to a wide variety of actions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Mayor, City Council, and city staff are committed to a full, impartial and transparent assessment of our practices and a comprehensive response in order to rebuild community trust and ensure the highest possible level of service moving forward.
This page is intended to be a go-to spot for community members to see what work is underway, find relevant information, and learn how to get involved. It is a work in progress and will be added to over time as new information is available. The West Linn City Council considers all of this work to be of the highest priority. The Council welcomes public comment at all their meetings or anytime via email to citycouncil@westlinnoregon.gov. The West Linn Library wants all community members to feel welcome. These are the ways in which the library is working to meet our DEIB goals.
The City of West Linn is committed to ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion are keystone practices within City operations and the community as a whole. The City released a request for qualifications for consulting services in April 2020 inviting proposals from firms specialized in achieving this goal.
