West Linn City Council held a productive, honest, and open meeting with the community and Mr. Michael Fesser on Wednesday, July 8 discussing issues such as racism in the community, Mr. Fesser's specific case, and reform actions both needed and currently underway in the schools, City and throughout the community. 

Future discussions and actions coming from the meeting are expected to be ongoing, with updated information to be available as part of Council's weekly DEI agenda meeting topic and posted to the City's DEI Hub page when scheduled or available.

The West Linn City Council will hold an online open community forum with Mr. Michael Fesser on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. We encourage you to ask questions, listen, and learn with us as we rebuild trust in our community. 

We want to hear and learn from your experiences. Join the conversation by signing up to speak during the video meeting at westlinnoregon.gov/meetings. You may also submit questions and comments ahead of time to citycouncil@westlinnoregon.gov, we cannot guarantee all questions will be addressed due to time limitations and the open format of the meeting, but hope to get to as many as possible. Please submit comments prior to 5:00pm on July 7th and sign up to speak before noon on July 8th.
