Jigsaw Puzzle Swap

Saturday, November 22nd  |  Community Room  |  10:00  AM - 11:30 AM

Give a puzzle, get a new puzzle in exchange at our Jigsaw Puzzle Swap! Gently used puzzles (in their original box) will be accepted at the Circulation Desk for a voucher starting Saturday, November 15th to Friday November 21st at 6:00 PM.  Please tape all four sides closed. Redeem your voucher on Saturday, November 22nd starting at 10:00 am.  Puzzles will be open to all from 10:45 AM -11:30 AM on only November 21st, no vouchers needed. This does not include puzzles from the Book Nook Used Bookstore. All ages are welcome at this event.

Meet One-on-One with a Financial Advisor

Every Thursday  |  11 AM - 1 PM  |  Virtual or In-person  |  Registration Required

Speak with a financial advisor about Investments, Retirement, & Estate Planning. This includes 401(k), IRA, estate planning, planning for major purchase like buying home, college savings, risk management, and more. These appointments are for 30 minutes. Registration is required. 

Library Writers Group

Second and fourth Wednesday at 5:30pm

This group is a chance for amateur to professional writers to meet, discuss ideas, share tips, and critique each other's writing. No registration or commitment required, but please RSVP if you plan to come so you can be sent the material for the upcoming meeting.

Circulation Policy

Library users with a general account can check out up to 80 items at a time, have up to 40 holds placed at a time, and have access to interlibrary loans, the Library of Things collection, cultural passes, and all of our library databases, including downloadable ebooks and audiobooks on the Libby app. 

Notary Services

Complimentary notary services for residents of West Linn* is available by appointment, 10am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. To request an appointment, please fill out the form once you have read the Essential Information below. *The person whose signature is being notarized must be a West Linn resident.

Please note: It may take up to 24 hours (Monday-Friday) to receive confirmation for appointments. If you are unable to submit appointment requests via webform, please call 503-656-7853.

Terrific Tuesdays at Willamette Park

Calling everyone who likes fun in the sun! Join us on Tuesdays at  Willamette Park, 1100 12th Street, on the Main Stage for some exciting entertainment! We offer two programs, at 10am or at 11:30am, with the exception of our last program, our StoryWalk Celebration, which will be at Fields Bridge Park and only at 10am. 

Bring your picnic, a blanket, and your library card so you can checkout books while you are there. You might also want to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. In the event of bad weather, updates will be posted on our website as well as our Facebook page.

Ni Hao Storytime

Thursday June 22 at 3:30pm in The Hollow

Join us for a storytime in Chinese to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival! Whether you are a novice, fluent, or somewhere in between, all language levels are invited.

No registration required.

Teen Summer Volunteering

For teens who are entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall of 2025.  Sign up HERE!

We are looking for detail-oriented teen volunteers to help us get library users of all ages signed up for our Summer Reading challenge! Available shifts are open between June 15th and August 15th.  You can sign up for anywhere from an hour to several hours per day - feel free to create your own schedule and get text reminders before your shifts.
