Play the Pokémon Trading Card Game with other Pokémon enthusiasts. No experience necessary - we will teach you how to play!

Bring your collection and meet other Pokémon enthusiasts to trade cards and show off your faves!

Parents are welcome to attend, but trading is for kids.

This is a drop-in event and registration is NOT required. You are free to arrive and leave anytime between 3:30 and 5:00.

Summer Jigsaw Puzzle Swap

Give a puzzle, get a new puzzle in exchange at our Jigsaw Puzzle Swap! Gently used puzzles (in their original box) will be accepted at the Circulation Desk for a voucher starting Saturday, August 22 to Friday, August 28 at 6:00 PM.  Please tape all four sides closed. Redeem your voucher on Saturday, August 29 starting at 10:00 am until 10:30Puzzles will be open to all from 10:30 AM -11:00 AM on only August 29, no vouchers needed. This does not include puzzles from the Book Nook Used Bookstore. All ages are welcome at this event.

Adult Take & Make: Daisy Vases

Decorate a vase with cute little summer daisies with this month's Take & Make kit for adults (age 18+). Each kit contains all supplies you will need. Kits are first-come first-serve starting at the Information Desk, while supplies last. Limit one kit per person.

We’ll cover tips for searching for names, dates, and locations, as well as how to navigate articles, obituaries, and archived pages. Newspapers can reveal the everyday moments and major milestones that shaped your ancestors’ lives, so come learn how to find them.
