Sensory Storytime

Green Burial in Oregon

Green burial advocate Elizabeth Fournier returns to the West Linn Library to talk about natural burial, backyard burials, and other eco-friendly forms of disposition available in Oregon. She will discuss the history, regulations in Portland, and current green practices, highlighting the value of going out in green style. Participants will learn what meaningful green rituals and gatherings we can create to honor our loved ones, support our grieving, and care for the earth and future generations.

Romance Book Club

First Tuesday | Community Room | 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM

The Romance Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 6 PM. Each month, we spotlight a different romance trope. Members bring any book they’ve read that fits the theme. No required titles, no stress, just great conversation.

For those in grades 8-12 

December 1st -January 3rd: Accepting Donations

We are accepting donations of gently used YA and adult fiction, graphic novels and narrative nonfiction for our upcoming Teen Book Swap on January 4th!

Teens who bring in books (or have books donated on their behalf!) will receive one book credit per donated book for the Book Swap. 

Please bring your donations to the Youth Services desk to get your Book Swap credit!

 

2025 Magazine Giveaway

It's time for our annual magazine giveaway! The library can only keep the current and previous year's issues, so starting on Monday, January 12th, we will be giving away all 2024 issues in the lobby of the library! There is no limit to how many you can take, and we encourage you to bring a bag. While supplies last.
