Adult Take & Make: Valentine Luminaries

Celebrate Valentine's Day by creating heart-covered luminaries with this month's Take & Make kit for adults (age 18+). Each kit contains all supplies you will need. Kits are first-come first-serve starting at 10am on February 14 at the Information Desk, while supplies last. Limit one kit per person.

Cooking Demo: Gut Microbiome and Chronic Disease Prevention

A healthy gut plays a powerful role in reducing the risk of chronic conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and certain cancers. This program provides an overview of the gut microbiome, what it is, and why it matters. Participants will learn how the gut microbiome supports digestion, immunity, inflammation control, and overall health, as well as explore foods that promote a healthy gut, including fiber-rich foods, fermented foods, and resistant starches.

Holly Grace Jones Endowment Scholarship

Mike and Denise Jones established this scholarship in honor of their daughter, Holly Grace. Holly loved the library and reading, and she served as a dedicated member of the Teen Library Advisory Board. This scholarship was created to honor up to two graduating seniors within the West Linn–Wilsonville School District who have demonstrated a commitment to the West Linn Library and community through their service on the Teen Library Advisory Board.
