Oregon Numbers Are on The Rise
The past few days have marked some of the highest daily counts since the onset of the pandemic in Oregon. These higher numbers are tied to several factors, including the availability of more widespread testing, increased contact tracing, and active monitoring of close contacts of cases.

While we move further along the path to reopening Oregon, these numbers serve as a reminder that COVID-19 is still in our communities and we all need to continue to do our part to slow the spread. We remind you to stay local, continue maintaining physical distance, wear a face covering or mask while in public spaces, avoid large gatherings, wash your hands frequently throughout the day, and disinfect high-touch areas.

What is Contact Tracing?
Contact tracing is one of the key tools for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Contact tracers call people who may have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 to provide guidance and support. This video helps explain the importance of answering a contact tracing call. Working together, we can stop the spread of COVID-19.

In order to schedule an appointment, you must have holds that are ready for pickup. You can review the status of your holds by checking your account at lincc.org or via the LINCC Mobile app, and the Library will notify you when holds have arrived. More details available here.
