Municipal Court Prosecutor Review of Former Sgt. Reeves Cases

On Monday, July 6, the City's Municipal Prosecutor, John Millar, sent a memo to Interim City Manager John Williams regarding his completion of a review of over a hundred cases involving former Sgt. Reeves. Based on the review, seven criminal cases and one traffic violation that could not be proven without the testimony of Reeves have been dismissed. The Clackamas County District Attorney has completed review of all active cases involving Reeves and has dismissed 10 cases so far where he was a necessary witness. Clackamas County is still in the process of reviewing hundreds of closed cases involving Reeves.
