City of West Linn Summer Photo Contest

The City of West Linn invites photographers of all ages and experience levels to participate in the 2026 West Linn Summer Photo Contest. This contest celebrates the people, places, and services that make West Linn a vibrant and connected community.

Submit your best original images that capture life in West Linn and help tell the story of our city.

CONTEST DATES

June 21, 2026 – August 21, 2026
All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on August 21, 2026.

CONTEST CATEGORIES

Participants may submit photos in the following categories:

• Building Community – Highlight West Linn’s buildings and infrastructure, or building community spirit through moments that showcase connection, inclusion, and togetherness.
• People at Play – Recreation, events, sports, and everyday fun.
• Community in Action – How does West Linn work for you? Spotlight the community in action. 
• Stories Come Alive – Capturing learning, creativity, storytelling and more at the library or in the community.  
• Everyday Heroes – Spotlight everyday acts of community service.
• Flora and Fauna – Highlight the beauty of West Linn's hills, trees, and rivers, and the animals who live there.

Judges reserve the right to reassign categories if appropriate.

HOW TO SUBMIT

All materials must be submitted digitally via Dropbox at https://www.dropbox.com/request/lwtpp4d2w4e4wukc5eix. See below 2026 contest packet for this year’s Contest Rules, Entry Agreement and Photo Release forms. All contest forms must be completed and submitted with photo(s) entries.
