Bird E-Scooters

bird has arrived

On April 11th, City Council entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Bird e-scooters, the same environmentally friendly e-scooter company currently operating in Portland and other metropolitan areas around the world, to begin a one-year pilot program in West Linn. Bird provides safe, publicly-accessible, and equitable transportation that can help decrease West Linn's carbon footprint. Bird offers Community Pricing discounts to low-income riders, select nonprofits and community organizations, veterans, and seniors. Healthcare workers and emergency personnel also receive discounted rides to recognize those whose work is crucial to our communities. Bird scooters have a proven track record in other cities with hilly terrain such as San Francisco and will be providing a local representative to ensure scooters are cleaned up and charged on a daily basis.

To find out more, visit Bird's website here or reach out to their customer service team with any questions or concerns. Bird scooters can be located and reserved using the Bird app.

Bird representatives will be happy to assist with any complaints or requests (hello@bird.com or 1-866-205-2442). Please see the information printed on each scooter, or the flyer below.
