2022 'If I Were Mayor' Contest Winners

Congratulations to all three of our 2022 'If I Were Mayor' contest winners!

First Place: Bella Mutti, 4th grade, Trillium Creek Primary - $100 gift card prize

Second Place: Tommy Vitro, 5th grade, Willamette Primary - $50 gift card prize

Third Place: Keegan Gravett, 4th grade, Willamette Primary - $50 gift card prize

The 'If I Were Mayor' contest is an annual contest sponsored by the Oregon Mayors Association and administered through participating local chapters. Students from all over Oregon describe their visions of what their home cities would look like if they were mayor. West Linn received over 66 entries in 2022, all of them wonderful. Our three winners were chosen by Major Jules Walters and City Council for displaying exceptional creativity, clarity of thought, language conventions, and subject relevancy. 

Winner Bella Mutti will be entered in the statewide contest for a chance to win up to $500 and recognition at an awards luncheon held during the Oregon Mayors Association Summer Conference in Newport. Wish her luck representing West Linn!
