Robert Galante is the Project Manager for the new West Linn Police Station Facility project. Mr. Galante currently provides project management, planning, public involvement, design and economic development services to clients throughout the Northwest.

Bob is a graduate of Penn State University and has been involved in architectural and planning projects in the Northwest since 1976. He has worked as a Vista Architect and Architect in Residence with Portland Public Schools. In addition, he has been a designer for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (architectural firm), and has held various management positions with the City of Lake Oswego including Senior Planner, Planning Director and Redevelopment Director, for eighteen years.

From 1992 to 2010 he was responsible for managing the Lake Oswego’s Urban Renewal Agency referred to as the Lake Oswego Redevelopment Agency. During that time he developed the Lake Oswego’s redevelopment plan, acquired property, designed projects, and implemented and managed most all of the key downtown projects. [In Bob’s own words] “I believe in the public process, involving all decision-makers, stakeholders, neighbors, and the overall community”.

Bob’s efforts are visible everyday when visiting Lake Oswego’s East End downtown area. He has successfully influenced quality-of-life enhancements such as an active Farmers Market, downtown concerts and events, public art on the streets, and has created a pedestrian-friendly downtown, which has helped make it the the popular area it is today.
