Willamette River Waterfront

Project Type:

The project is envisioned to create a new park area centered on water related activities potentially including paddle craft lessons and rentals, a roped-off river swimming area and natural area and habitat improvements. This project also includes the Willamette Greenway Trail extension of Phase 1 trail from Willamette Park to the Willamette Falls.

Willamette River Access

Project Type:

This project proposes an improved riverside trail from the Arch Bridge to the catwalk and  potential new decking on the fishing catwalk.  

This project is on hold pending decisions with other major proposed and potential projects in the area by other organizations.

Athletic Field Renovations

Total Project Cost to date = $960,777

Fields Bridge Park - Completed 3/9/2021
In partner ship with West Linn Youth Baseball the artificial turf infields at the Fields Bridge Park baseball fields will be replaced for safety purposes at the end of their useful life.
 

Mary S. Young Park - Completed 8/33/2020
The improvements to the athletic fields at Mary S. Young Park is the  installation of a new drainage system to increase safety and seasonal playability on the natural turf fields.

Willamette Park

Project Type:

Improvements at Willamette Park include a new gazebo roof, improved parking along the Tualatin River and an accessible non motorized boat launch area at the mouth of the Tualatin River, and a new boardwalk through the Willamette Park Wetlands.

Tanner Creek Park

Project Type:

Tanner Creek Park will become the home of the City’s first outdoor fitness court, along with resurfaced Tennis Court with 4 dedicated pickleball courts.

Project Cost = $118,084 (National Fitness Court also utilized some SDC Funding)

Sunset Park

The work at Sunset Park consists of re-developing the entire park including new ADA pathways, a new restroom, new nature playground, new and relocated picnic shelters and an interactive water feature for kids.

Sunburst Park

Improvements to Sunburst Park include a pavement overlay to the internal pathway and leveling and surfacing the basketball court with a conversion to an adjustable height backboard and rim.

Skyline Ridge Park

Improvement to Skyline Ridge Park will be the conversion of the old telemetry building, if possible, or the construction of a new uni-sex restroom and the re-surfacing of tennis/pickleball courts.
