A Tree is defined as- Any woody, perennial plant—deciduous, evergreen, or coniferous—that meets the following size criteria:

Parks, Areas, & Facilities Naming Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish a systematic and consistent approach for the official naming of parks and recreational areas and facilities. We want to ensure that parks, recreational areas and facilities are easily identified and located. Ensure that given names to parks, recreational areas and facilities are consistent with the values and character of the area or neighborhood served.

Community Tree Ordinance

The purpose of Sections 8.500 to 8.798 in West Linn Municipal Code is to ensure that the City and any areas that may become part of the City of West Linn will continue to realize the benefits provided by its urban forest, and to establish a process and standards which will minimize uncontrolled cutting or destruction of trees or wooded areas within West Linn.
