Adult Community Center Services

THE WEST LINN ADULT COMMUNITY CENTER

The West Linn Adult Community Center is open to any adult 50 years and better in the West Linn and surrounding area. The Center provides social, recreational, health and educational services and programs. The ACC is also available for rental use.  For rental information and availability, please contact our Recreation Coordinator Nicole Budden by calling (503) 557-4704 or emailing nbudden@westlinnoregon.gov

Fundraising on City Property Permit

Does your group want to hold any type of fundraiser on City owned property? If you answer yes, this Permit is required. For further information about this Permit or process please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 503-557-4700.

Sunset Fire Hall

Sunset Fire Hall 2215 Long St.

Does your group need a place to meet? Is your house too small for that special party?  The City of West Linn may be able to meet your needs utilizing the Community Rooms located at the Sunset Fire Hall.

This is a two story facility with the downstairs having the kitchen and meeting/eating area. Upstairs is a wood floor ballroom perfect for a get together. It is a great venue for that large group or function.  Capacity is 100

Administration

Parks and Recreation Mission Statement - To provide life enhancing experiences and to promote a healthy community. This is accomplished by providing safe, attractive, and well maintained parks, facilities, trails and open spaces, as well as creative and challenging recreation programs for the leisure time enjoyment of West Linn citizens of all ages.

Safety Town

West Linn Safety Town is a dynamic one-week day camp designed for children ages 4 to 6. This engaging program teaches essential personal safety skills through hands-on activities and presentations led by professional speakers—such as trauma nurses, firefighters, police officers, and experienced volunteers.

Youth Sports groups and clubs

Many of the high quality youth and sports programs in the West Linn area are handled by outside organizations not affiliated with the Parks and Recreation Department. The information in this area is updated as initial or new contact information is provided by the organizations.

We make efforts to solicit appropriate contact information, but it is not always possible. If you know of other local youth sports organizations please pass them along to us.
 

Special Use Permit

A Special Use Permit application must be submitted a minimum of 30 days in advance (up to twelve months) before the event date. When your application is submitted, there will be a $150.00 non-refundable application fee along with Special Event Fees and City personnel costs paid per the Master Fee & Charges schedule. Depending on the type of event, additional fees and information may be required.
