Letters to a Librarian will post on our Facebook page each Monday morning through August 24th. Kids can email a Youth Services Librarian, ask questions, talk about books, and practice writing with a new themed writing prompt each week. The email address is: hellowlpl@westlinnoregon.gov. Each week's theme will be reflected in the books read on Library Live.
The U.S. Census ensures critical federal dollars reach all Oregonian communities. It happens every 10 years and guides how $1.5 trillion dollars annually will be spent on roads, transportation, health care, housing, and so much more. Local governments use the census for public safety and emergency preparedness.
Residents of the LINCC Library District without a card can register for an eCard. This will grant access to online resources, including ebooks/eaudiobooks, databases, and Kanopy streaming video.
An eCard also enables users to place up to three holds on physical materials. The eCard can be upgraded to a card with full privileges when visiting the library to check out items.
Here are some resources to know about if you're staying at home and unable to visit the library. Also check out LINCC's Online Resources page. Don't have a library card? Sign up online!
The library is now open for browsing, seating, and computer use. The Book Nook is also now open during library hours. All programs are still temporarily virtual.
