The quarterly West Linn Public Library Preschool Newsletter shares upcoming early childhood events and programs at the West Linn Library, book recommendations for children, caregivers, and educators, and other useful information.
Library materials are considered lost if they are not returned within 45 days of the due date. At that point, a billing notice is mailed and a lost item charge is applied to the patron’s library account. The original purchase price is used to determine the lost item fee.
It has been determined a new drainage system for the Library roof will need to be installed the week of April 22nd-26th. This work will require plumbers and roofers working in and out of the building the entire week. For safety reasons, the Library will be opening at 2pm while this construction takes place. Library hours for the week will be:
Construction on the Library's roof is set to begin on April 8. The project is expected to last at least four weeks and will be dependent on weather. The impact on patrons inside the library should be minimal.
During construction, a portion of the main parking lot will be fenced off. Access to the path leading to Bolton Street will be maintained. Staff will be asked to park elsewhere to minimize the impact on patrons.
