It has been determined a new drainage system for the Library roof will need to be installed the week of April 22nd-26th. This work will require plumbers and roofers working in and out of the building the entire week. For safety reasons, the Library will be opening at 2pm while this construction takes place. Construction on the Library's roof is set to begin on April 8. The project is expected to last at least four weeks and will be dependent on weather. The impact on patrons inside the library should be minimal.
During construction, a portion of the main parking lot will be fenced off. Access to the path leading to Bolton Street will be maintained. Staff will be asked to park elsewhere to minimize the impact on patrons.
