The West Linn and Wilsonville Public Libraries work together to publish a WLWV Primary School Newsletter each month during the school year. Included in each newsletter are Events for children in grades K-5, Did-You-Know information for both teachers and parents, as well as nine Books We Recommend.
We support the development of early literacy skills for our youngest readers and their parents/caregivers. Our early childhood area and programming are designed to encourage the five early literacy practices of reading, talking, playing, singing and writing.
Visit us to enjoy our large selection of board books and picture books, or to play in our early childhood area complete with trains, blocks and a pretend market. Browse our collection of parenting books nearby or connect with other families in the community.
Explore our book recommendations for kids ages 0+ with our booklists. Discover upcoming events and useful information in our Preschool Newsletter.
Teen Events/Programs - West Linn Library offers a variety of programs for teens, grades 8-12. The goal is to provide West Linn teens with the opportunity to learn new skills, develop a new hobby, or meet new friends! Above all, we aim to provide a fun place for teens to recreate and learn.
We offer a wide array of educational and recreational events for kids during the school year and over the summer. These include hands-on STEAM programs, Tales to Tails, Lego Club, and more.
Booklists for Kids - You'll find all booklists we offer for kids here. Some of these books can also be found in forms other than print. If a key is included, use these icons to find downloadable ebooks and audiobooks!
