dnd dice

D&D is coming to the West Linn Public Library!

Come to our session 0 to get ready for our first adventure.  We'll be forming parties, creating characters, and getting some dice rolls under our belts before the first campaigns begin in September.  Tweens and teens will be able to sign up to reserve a spot at our Sunday sessions all the way through May 2026.  Tables will be limited!

August's Spice is Garam Masala! Pickup begins August 1st, 2025 at 10:00 AM throughout the month of August, while supplies last.

Join us for our West Linn Public Library Spice Club. Cooking enthusiasts and novices alike may stop by the library and pick up a Spice Club Kit, which includes a spice sampling and recipes. Participants are asked to use the spice in their cooking at home, and can use the recipes provided to them, find a new recipe online, or replace a spice in a favorite recipe.

Speed Friending

Welcome to our Speed Friending Library Program! Are you in your 40s or 50s or 60s looking to make new friends and expand your social circle? Look no further! Our program is designed to bring people together in a fun, low stress, and interactive way. Our friendly and welcoming environment ensures that everyone feels comfortable and included. You'll engage in short, structured conversations with different participants, allowing you to quickly get to know each other and find common ground. Registration is requested.

Take and Play Kits for Little Ones

Starts Sunday August 17   |   Youth Services Desk

Have some playtime fun with this summer sensory kit!  Kit includes scarf, bubbles, egg shaker, and sidewalk chalk.  For ages 5 and under with adult supervision.

No registration required but supplies are limited.

Funded in partnership with the State of Oregon's Ready to Read Grant.

Form teams of up to five people and join us at the library for trivia fun! We will have five 10-question rounds and each round will be a different category. Snacks will be served. All ages welcome. The game starts promptly at 6:30 pm so arrive a few minutes early.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon and upcycle tin cans for a fun new look and use! In this hands-on craft session, you'll use colorful paper, glue, and your imagination to decorate cans that can be turned into cool pencil holders, planters, or gifts.

All supplies are provided—just bring your creativity!
