The Book Nook Used Bookstore

bookstore

The Book Nook used bookstore is located on the main floor near the Information Desk. Operated by the West Linn Library Foundation, the Book Nook offers novels, romance, mystery, memoirs, cookbooks, children's books, audiobooks, DVDs, and more. The book store relies solely on donations from the community and all proceeds go directly to the Foundation to support library programs.

The Book Nook welcomes donations of books, audiobooks, video games, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs for all ages. Please make sure items are in good condition (no missing covers, ripped pages, water damage, mold, etc.).

We cannot accept:

  • Journals & notebooks
  • Magazines
  • Encyclopedias
  • Dictionaries
  • Thesauruses
  • Textbooks
  • Cassettes
  • Music CDs
  • VHS
  • Items for the Library of Things

Donations may be dropped off at the Check-Out Desk on the main floor during library hours. Please do not put donations in the book drop. Due to space limitations, we can only accept three bags or three boxes per household, per day. The Book Nook may be able to accept larger donations with advanced notice. Please email wlplbooknook@gmail.com with questions about larger donations.

If you wish to recycle old books that the library can’t accept, you can find a place to take them by visiting Metro's website.

For more information on donating materials, please see this page.

Thank you for your support!
