The Library has teamed up with our Parks & Recreation Department to combine two of our favorite things: reading books and exploring the great outdoors! Together we invite you to the StoryWalk® at Fields Bridge Park.
Fields Bridge Park is located at 821 Willamette Falls Drive and offers a paved trail that is accessible to all. The total length of the StoryWalk® path is a quarter of a mile and the first panel begins at the playground. Stories will be changed out on a regular basis.

This StoryWalk® is generously funded by the Holly Grace Jones Endowment of the West Linn Library Foundation. Holly loved to read and spent countless hours at the West Linn Library. She was also a devoted member of the Library’s Teen Advisory Board. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt was one of her favorite books as a child.
What is a StoryWalk®?
StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children – and adults! – to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are displayed and installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story. StoryWalks promote early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. They are also an opportunity to reach community members who may not come to the library.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
