Training

The West Linn Police Department is dedicated to providing the most current, insightful, and progressive law enforcement training to its members.  Training areas will include annual mandatory training as required by DPSST for all officers holding a Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Certification, as well as elective training categories which aim to increase officer competency, effectiveness, and professionalism.

On September 15, 2021, West Linn Police Officers will participate in The August Wilson Red Door Project training - all members of the Police Department, sworn and non-sworn, will participate in the training.
