2019 Water Main Replacement Project

The maintenance division has identified sub-standard water mains that need to be replaced. This project will aim to upgrade these water mains to current City standards. The work will likely take place in multiple neighborhoods.

Tanner Ridge Offsite Improvements

Project Type:

This project includes frontage improvements to the portions of Rosemont Road and Parker Road that front the Tanner Ridge Development. Project includes pedestrian, bike and street improvements including the City's first grade separated cycle track. This project is being coordinated between the City and the developer (ICON Construction).

2018 Slurry Seal

Project Type:

Slurry seal provides a new protective wearing surface to an existing asphalt street.​ By sealing the surface of the street, the base of the road is protected from water damage and the surface is protected from weathering significantly extending the lifespan of the road.

Mary S. Young Park Emergency Culvert Repair

Project Type:

Emergency replacement of existing culvert in Mary S. Young that failed during 2017 storm event. Project included removal of silt, trees, stumps, removal and disposal of existing 18" galvanized culvert, and excavation and installation of new culvert. Project included restoration of park trail washed out during storm event. This project was a joint effort between the City's Public Works and Parks Departments.
