Join us for our monthly SOLVE event in Palomino Park. 

We'll be grabbing the nasty species by the roots as they poke their invasive shoots above ground, threatening our new native plants. We are slowly pushing back the wall of ivy, blackberries and holly.

The City owns almost 400 acres of open space that contain numerous different types of trees, bushes, plants and grasses along with natural debris that exists on the forest floor. For many years the forest floor has held branches and debris but with recent storm earlier this year the amount of potential hazardous materials has increased. The City recently evaluated open spaces in the city by partnering with Oregon Department of Forestry (wildfire experts) and TVF&R (structure experts) to utilize their expertise to mitigate hazards.

Athletic Field Permits & Rentals

Welcome to Field Rentals in the City of West Linn, where outdoor activities and community engagement thrive in our beautiful parks. The City of West Linn Parks and Recreation has 13 rent-able fields for seasonal, occasional, and tournament play. Permits are required for all field use.

Beginning in spring we typically post jobs for: 

 Summer Camp Counselors (Recreation Attendant) 

Monthly Work Party at Willamette Park on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 am - 12 pm.

Volunteers are welcome to help remove invasive plants, ivy and clean trails. Please bring hand pruners, gloves and water.

Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Maintenance & Monitoring, Trail Maintenance.
