Willamette River Plunge

NEW IN 2026: Now partnering with SPECIAL OLYMPICS  OREGON 

To participate in this year's POLAR PLUNGE you will need to join the CITY OF WEST LINN POLAR PLUNGE TEAM and begin fundraising!

While there is no minimum to participate, we recommend you raise at least $25, with a goal of $60 per plunger! ALL proceeds go to Special Olympics Oregon!

Plunge into the New Year with this cool community event!  Enjoy a warm fire, warm food, and sweet treats before and after taking a quick refreshing dip in the Willamette River.

Costumes:

Dress in your icy best! There will be no contest this year, but dressing up is always encouraged and there will be plenty of photo opportunities!

Safety:

The TVF&R Water Rescue Team will be on the dock to assist anyone who may require emergency services.  Thank you TVF&R!
