Park Shelter Reservations

Reservations Will Open For
March-September 2024 on february 1, 2024. 

The West Linn Parks system has park facilities available on a first come first served basis. However, if you are anticipating a large group, you may wish to make a reservation in advance. The Parks Department has reservations available at parks for your convenience, all with restroom facilities for your group.

Reservation applications for picnic areas and ball fields/court areas may be submitted starting February 1 for reservations between March 1st - September 30th.  Outside of the listed dates, shelters are on a first come first serve basis. Some shelters are closed for the winter.  Applications for ball fields and courts will be approved as soon as the City has coordinated with local youth sports organizations for in-season use.

This application process covers all areas in West Linn Parks.

We have event/picnic areas that can be reserved at the following Parks:

• Marylhurst Heights Park
  • Shelter A (closest to splash pad/playground)
  • Shelter B (closest to field) 
• Willamette Park
  • Main Shelter
  • Gazebo
  • Stage
  • Wetland Selter (near boat ramp)
• Sunset Park
  • Shelter A (closest to playground)
  • Shelter B (closest to fire hall)
• Tanner Creek park        

TO RESERVE: 

1. Create a RecDesk account if you do not already have one.  

2. Find your facility & check availability 

                - For more information on the park, click the shelter name. 

3. Fill out information on your picnic reservation.

4. We will email you your permit within 5 business days.

Picnic Refund Policy

Policy Picnic and field reservation fees shall be refunded in the following manner:
1. 100% minus $10 processing fee, if refund is requested more than 30 days in advance of scheduled date.
2. 50% minus $10 processing fee, if refund is requested between 16 and 30 days in advance of scheduled date.
3. No refund if requested 15 days or less in advance of scheduled date.
