2019 and 2020 City Council Goals

Unanimously Adopted on April 8, 2019 and reaffirmed by Council on February 3, 2020. Goals are organized under categories from the 1994 Imagine West Linn Vision Plan, updated in 2008. At the bottom of the page is the full Goals document with action items and guiding goal statements, immediately below is an abbreviated version of the primary goals.

Happy Hour with Councilor Cummings

Join Council President Teri Cummings for happy hour at the West Linn McMenamins! These casual meetings are an opportunity for you to get to know Councilor Cummings, meet others, discuss what is going on in West Linn, and share ideas.

Councilor Cummings' Open Office Day

Council President Teri Cummings will hold open office days every second and fourth Tuesday of the month to meet with the public, take phone calls, or catch up over coffee at a convenient location. Please contact Councilor Cummings by email, or by calling her at (503) 568-3566 to make an appointment to meet and discuss City matters. All are welcomed and encouraged to participate!

Citizen Advisory Group Training

Join us for our annual Citizen Advisory Group training event. All Citizen Advisory Group Members and the public are welcome and encouraged to come and learn about the roles and responsibilities of Council, the City Manager, and Citizen Advisory groups. Topics will include how to run effective meetings, Council goals, public records and meetings law, and other legal obligations of members.
