On November, 2018 the City Council adopted Resolution 2018-22 to help guide more friendly, inclusive, and civil discourse in community discussions.
Additionally, on August 18, 2026, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1773 and Resolution 2026-06 Code of Conduct Policy to establish expectations for behavior in City buildings and adjacent City property, enhance safety, engagement and service delivery for employees and the public.
