Last fall, the West Linn Public Library invited community members to share feedback through a Strategic Plan Survey to help guide the library’s future. We’re grateful to the 580 residents who participated and shared how they use and value the library.

Green burial advocate Elizabeth Fournier returns to the West Linn Library to talk about natural burial, backyard burials, and other eco-friendly forms of disposition available in Oregon. She will discuss the history, regulations in Portland, and current green practices, highlighting the value of going out in green style. Participants will learn what meaningful green rituals and gatherings we can create to honor our loved ones, support our grieving, and care for the earth and future generations. All questions are answered by someone who not just talks about these topics but has made green burial her life's work and full-time job.
