We are thrilled to announce that beginning January 2026, the West Linn Public Library will officially eliminate overdue fines for all library materials checked out at our library.
This means that starting in the new year:
February is Fill the Pantry Month at the library! Here's your chance to start 2026 right and help hungry friends and neighbors. For every (3) cans/packages of food brought in, you will receive a raffle tickets to enter to win one of two fabulous gift baskets!

Welcome to our Speed Friending Library Program! Are you looking to make new friends and expand your social circle? Look no further! Our program is designed to bring people together in a fun, low stress, and interactive way. Our friendly and welcoming environment ensures that everyone feels comfortable and included. You'll engage in short, structured conversations with different participants, allowing you to quickly get to know each other and find common ground. Registration is requested.

The Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education Program at Clackamas ESD are providing free hearing screenings for children, as well as access to Ages and Stages Questionnaires for developmental screening.

Remember how exciting Pokémon was (and actually still is!) by helping a whole new generation of players learn to love Pokémon.
The library is hosting our first ever Pokémon Club event, and we would love to have your expertise and knowledge.
You will be helping new players in grades 3-5 learn the game, build their decks, and gain confidence through quick gameplay sessions.

HEART STRINGS MANDARIN is an Early Childhood Mandarin Music and Movement Program for Children, curated by a bilingual language and music educator, with training in music therapy and qualifications as a mental health therapist. Join us for a series of thirty-minute programs specially designed for young learners. We will sing, move, play instruments, and tell stories. We welcome all levels of Mandarin fluency from absolute beginners to native Mandarin speakers. Recommended for children five and under accompanied by their caregivers. Space is limited and available on a first-come basis; no registration required.
