KIndergarten Carnival 2025

Wednesday, October 8th - Saturday, October 11th

Calling all kindergartners and their families! Join us for Kindergarten Carnival, a fun fest specifically for YOU! This event is held in conjunction with West Linn primary school conference days.

The World of Aviation

Friday, September 26th at 10:30am and 11:30am. 

Join the world-famous Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and learn about flight with their Museum in a Box.

Tin Can Decoupage for grades 5-8

Join us for a relaxed afternoon and upcycle tin cans for a fun new look and use! In this hands-on craft session, you'll use colorful paper, glue, and your imagination to decorate cans that can be turned into cool pencil holders, planters, or gifts.

All supplies are provided—just bring your creativity!

 

Fitness at the Library Yoga

Friday, October 24 at 1-2:15  |  Active LINCC Library Card Required for Registration  |  Free event

Lyndalea Ruffner, certified Yoga Instructor who teaches classes at the West Linn Adult Community Center will be offering a Gentle Yoga class at the library. Lyn’s Gentle Yoga class is a comprehensive and gentle class covering balance, strength and stretching moves while relaxing your body and mind. For those who have never done Yoga this one hour introductory class will include breathing techniques and various Yoga Asanas. Students are encouraged to work within their own range of motion and comfort zone. This class is well suited for anyone interested in exploring Yoga for the first time or folks already engaged in Yoga practice. This is a single introductory class, this is not a recurring class. This class is for adults (18 years and older).

Are you new to Medicare, or do you already have Medicare but have questions about your coverage?  Clackamas County SHIBA (Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance) Counselors are here to to help ! Learn the basics of Medicare, including eligibility, enrollment, and what Parts A, B, C, and D cover and cost. This is great information if you or a loved one is about to transition to Medicare, or if you'd like a refresher. There will also be information about the upcoming Open Enrollment period and time for questions and answers.​
