Kid's STEM Programs for K - 5

Join us for STEM and Maker Fun in The Hollow!  Programs for grades K - 5 are offered at 1:00 and 2:00 on Early Release days. Space is limited.

Volunteer-Maddax Woods Work Party

Monthly Volunteer Work Days at Maddax Woods on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 am - 12 pm.

Volunteers as young as 13 years old are welcome to help clean trails and the garden area. Tools and refreshments are provided.

Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Maintenance & Monitoring, Trail blazing and path paving.

Old Time Fair Court Information Night

Wednesday, January 17th from 6-7 pm at the West Linn Adult Community Center, 1180 Rosemont RD.

Students in the 8th grade, and family members, are invited to attend an open house to learn more about the West Linn Old Time Fair Court program, the application, the selection process, and to visit the current court members and their parents.

Earth Day Work Day

Join us for Earth Day Work Day 2025, West Linn Parks and Recreation biggest volunteer day of the year!

Earth Day Work Day will take place on April 19th, 2025 at Willamette Park, meet at the Wetland Shelter.
Give back to the earth by helping with invasive species removal,  beautification projects, spreading chips, planting and more! We will be focusing on areas at the Wetland Shelter and along the Willamette River Trail.  

There will be some tools and gloves for use onsite, feel free to bring your own gloves and hand tools.
