General Event

Monthly Volunteer Work Days at Maddax Woods on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 am - 12 pm.

Volunteers as young as 13 years old are welcome to help clean trails and the garden area. Tools and refreshments are provided.

Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Maintenance & Monitoring, Trail blazing and path paving.

Wednesday, January 17th from 6-7 pm at the West Linn Adult Community Center, 1180 Rosemont RD.

Students in the 8th grade, and family members, are invited to attend an open house to learn more about the West Linn Old Time Fair Court program, the application, the selection process, and to visit the current court members and their parents.

Join us for Earth Day Work Day 2026, West Linn Parks and Recreation biggest volunteer day of the year!

Earth Day Work Day will take place on April 25th, 2026 at Fields Bridge Park, meet at the Shelter near the playground.

Give back to the earth by helping with invasive species removal,  beautification projects, spreading chips, planting and more! 

There will be some tools and gloves for use onsite, feel free to bring your own gloves and hand tools. 

Lunch will also be provided between 12-1 pm for all volunteers.

Young children and their parents/caregivers are invited for stories, songs and activities that promote early literacy skills. No registration required.
