Restrain existing unrestrained pipe joints on a 24-inch diameter steel water transmission main located on a steep slope above Abernathy Creek in Oregon City.

Status Updates

01/08/2019 - Project complete. 

11/14/2018 - Waiting on delivery of 24-inch valves. All but one joint has been restrained on the hillside. Final one will be welded during shutdown of valve installation.

10/10/2018 -  5 joints have been exposed and welded. 3 more joints are planned to be exposed and welded this week. 24 inch valves are expected by the end of the month.

09/12/2018 - Work has begun on the project.

08/08/2018 - Project has been awarded. Pre-construction meeting held on 8/1. Shutdown still tentatively planned for 9/4.

06/05/2018 - Pre-bid meeting to be held on 06/12/2018. Complete bids are due 06/21.
