City of West Linn Robinwood Neighborhood Association (RNA, RN to be used for Robinwood Neighborhood) Monthly Meeting Minutes Tuesday, 5/08/07 Kevin Bryck, interim President, called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. During the meeting, the April 2007 meeting minutes were unanimously approved. Items Discussed Police Update Officer McKean reported on the incidents occurring in the RN during April 2007 , including 2 burgleries. Concerts in the Park Allison Richmond spoke regarding the Summer concert series at Willamette Park. Turnout Committee for June Meeting Tina Decker and Anne Beltman will work to ensure turnout to the special meeting in June to approve the Neighborhood Plan. A site will be secured at one of the churches. Babysitting will be provided. A mailer to all households will be provided by the CoWL. A motion by Anne Beltman, seconded by Mary Hill and unanimously passed: that Kevin Bryck should ask Gordon Howard in Planning to create and distribute the mailer. Presentation by COC Re: 4111 Elmran 6-lot Subdivision Matt Hastie of COC, accompanied by Applicant Dan Mcginley made a presentation re: the project. Kevin Bryck met with the applicant on site and discussed many of the NA’s concerns on Monday. The Applicant agreed to several mitigations to alleviate these concerns. A motion by Mary Hill, seconded by Tim Cibula and unanimously passed: that Kevin Bryck should write a letter to the Planning Commission regarding the NA’s concerns: • Visibility in the Elmran intersection and dangerous vehicle proclivities. • Storm water retention and runoff. • Hill side stability. • Pedestrian pathways. • Construction vehicles parked on public road during construction. Natural Hazard Mitigation Duane Funk spoke about the update to the Natural Hazard Mitigation plan in concert with Clackamas County. Miscellaneous Updates and Comments ???? The final Hwy 43 TGM Public Workshop will be held on Thursday April17th at 6:30 PM at the ACC. ???? Kevin Bryck noted that the 7-lot PUD proposal on Mapleton would probably not proceed until August. ???? Ivy pulling and path graveling opportunities are available every weekend at MS Young Park. ???? Trail Signs in MS Young Park, paid for by the RNA, will be going up as soon CoWL Parks employees find the poles. Cost of poles is about $19 each. ???? On My 29th, the City Council is scheduled to discuss the Willamette River Greenway and docks. ???? Down by the Riverside Beach Cleanup at MS Young Park is May 19th. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM.
