City of West Linn Robinwood Neighborhood Association (RNA, RN to be used for Robinwood Neighborhood) Monthly Meeting Minutes Tuesday, 2/13/07 Kevin Bryck, interim President, called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM. During the meeting, the January 2007 meeting minutes were unanimously approved. Items Discussed Police Update Officer Amendolara reported on the incidents occurring in the RN during January 2007 (one of which was a burglary). An attendee asked if the police had any leads on the mailbox break-ins on Mapleton – Officer Amendolara indicate he was not aware of any leads. Policy Levy Officer Amendolara distributed materials regarding the upcoming police levy vote. Tim Cibula told attendees he had yard signs in support of the policy levy for anyone that wanted one. Tanner Basin Neighborhood Association Fundraiser Roberta Scwartz provided details on this upcoming event. Metro Government Activity Update The attendees unanimously voted to apply $300 of the RN discretionary fund toward the purchase of new walking trail signs. RNA Neighborhood Plan Development Update Kevin Bryck noted that the Plan development team would be meeting with the Planning Commission on 3/1/07. Special Attendee Please note that City Councilor Jody Carson attended the meeting. Transportation Growth Management (TGM) Grant Update Kevin Bryck updated attendees as to the city’s process to decide how to apply TGM monies. The city will use Cogan Owens Cogan to facilitate a needs analysis and develop a plan to use the monies. Kevin motioned for the RNA to approve the establishment of a Citizens Advisory Committee consisting of Bolton and Robinwood neighborhood residents to participate in the TGM needs analysis and funds distribution process – the attendees unanimously voted to send such a letter to the City Council. Kevin also noted that they needed business owners along Highway 43 to participate in the process. Miscellaneous Updates and Comments ???? Kevin Bryck noted that a 6-lot subdivision proposal for a lot at the intersection of Robinview and Old River Roads had been submitted to the city. ???? The drudging of the river near the boat ramps was completed except for the north side of the north dock (due to equipment difficulties). ???? Jack Norby discussed the attempt to get a walking path built on land owned by the Water Treatment plant. ???? On 2/19, the city will meet to select a site for the new phone station. o At least one attendee noted that it would be best for the city to integrate the new police station with the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue proposed site for a new fire station. ???? Kevin Bryck noted that he though it was in the RN’s best interest to again periodically produce and distribute a neighborhood newsletter. ???? Resident Anne Beltman noted that she felt the sidewalk laid by the company constructing the dialysis center on 43 was not consistent with the sidewalk design previously presented to the neighborhood by the developer.
