MARYLHURST NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION AGENDA February 24th, 2009 - 7:00 p.m. West Linn Adult Community Center 1180 Rosemont Road, West Linn, OR 97068 NOTE: The meeting will begin promptly at 7:05pm. If you need time to review the minutes of the previous meeting prior to a vote of approval, please arrive by 7:00pm. 1. Call to Order – 2009 Goals and review of how the Marylhurst NA operates – Jef Treece 2. Approve Minutes for October 28th, 2008. – Brian Eastman 3. Treasurer’s Report – Jim Koll. 4. Committee Reports (Each report limited to 5 minutes): a. Neighborhood Representative to applications conferences report, if any - Karie Oakes. 5. Priority Topics/Guest Speakers a. None Scheduled 6. Old Business: a. Non Scheduled 7. New Business: a. Proposed changes to MNA bylaws. Some administrative changes may be beneficial and will be outlined at the meeting. No vote on changes will occur at this meeting. Preliminary discussion and the compilation of a list of items for discussion and potential voting in March or later will take place. – Jef Treece & Brian Eastman b. Report on the first meeting of the Committee for Citizen Involvement on January 7, 2009 – Jef Treece & Brian Eastman c. Ideas / Goals for 2009. Open discussion and goal setting for the coming year. Your ideas and participation are welcome. d. NA & Citizen Advisory Group Presentation to City Council. A meeting at which NA’s may present ideas and issues to the city council will take place on March 2nd. We will discuss any items the neighborhood would like to communicate at this event. e. March 18th Planning Commission Hearing, at which there will be discussion of amendments to the CDC to increase from 3 to 5 years the amount of time applicants have to construct improvements allowed by design review, conditional use, variances and final platting of partitions, PUD and subdivisions 8. City Legislative & Land Use Update a. Informational update from those NA Members who have been following activities on the Planning Commission and City Council i. The sub-division/PUD application for the property at 19650 Suncrest has been filed, and may be available for discussion at this meeting. 9. Neighbor Announcements a. If there is an event, activity or issue you wish to notify the neighborhood association of, this is your opportunity. No commercial solicitations please. 10. Adjourn
