A. Marylhurst Park
A motion was forwarded at the regular association meeting on August 28th, 2007
proposing that the Neighborhood Association request of the city council to amend
the Maryhurst Neighborhood Plan adopted July 9th 2007 and remove language
supporting the development of Marylhurst Park as proposed by the city. Seeing as
the motion requires an amendment to the Neighborhood Plan, it was determined that
proper notification had not been given to take such an action at the August 28th
meeting and this special meeting was called.
In addition to the above motion, the neighborhood association was asked by the
Planning Commission on August 23rd, 2007 to inform the commission in writing
exactly which features would be desired in the park if the current plan before the
commission is not to be approved. This communication needs to be sent to the
Planning Commission by September 20, 2007.
