Construction of new primary school and related facilities on the existing Sunset Primary School site. Work in the righ-of-way is covered under the Public Improvement permit. On-site construction of the school is covered under a separate building permit.

04/09/2018 - Paving occurred on 3/30, contractor working on remaining punchlist items.

03/05/2018 - Contractor working on punchlist items and awaiting favorable weather for final paving.

12/18/2017 - Construction is the right-of-way is almost complete. Contractor is awaiting favorable weather for final paving.

10/23/2017 - City continues to inspect work in the right-of-way.

08/31/2017 - City continues to inspect work in the right-of-way. Base lift of asphalt is laid and sidewalks are installed. Street improvements will continue to take place through the fall.

08/03/2017 - Curbline proof roll on the north side of Oxford St. between Exeter and Sussex was inspected and approved.

06/07/2017 - City continues to inspect work in the right-of-way. Street improvements will take place throughout the summer.

05/23/2017 - Work progressing on installation of 4" ductile iron pipe straight through the domestic water vault. Installed temporary blow off on backside of vault to facilitate visual inspection for leaks.

05/04/2017 - Inspected forms for sidewalk panel replacements. Forms were approved and panel was poured to match existing. Instructed construction crews to move materials and provide one-lane of traffic through work zones.

03/09/2017 - Storm, sewer, and water mains have been installed in the right-of-way. Construction on site is on-going.

01/23/2017 - Onsite consult with contractors regarding installation of sanitary sewer manholes. City inspector met with residents onsite to discuss concerns about the park and tree protection; showed residents the limits of the sanitary sewer main bore job.

12/05/2016 - Developer provided the City with inspection report certifying that the storwater facility was constructed in accordance with adopted public works standards. Contractors have been working on installing water service and stormwater drainage pipes in the adjacent street right-of-way.

11/22/2016 - Digging up of ends of 8" fire line and 4" potable water service on Oxford in order to extend services. Added temporary blowoff to each for testing.

08/25/2016 - Began excavation for installation of 8" ductile iron waterline

07/27/2016 - Public Improvement Permit issued
