Pimlico Drive Sidewalk Ramp Replacement Project
This project includes installing sidewalk ramps along Pimlico Drive between Palomino Circle and Club House Circle. The existing curb reduces mobility options for residents along Pimlico Drive, specifically when trying to cross the street at intersections. A total of twelve new curb ramps will be installed.
Status Updates
4/30/19 - Project is complete. Contractor completed constructing all ramps and restored landscaping around ramps. City staff measured slopes for all ramps and posted results.
4/10/19 - Contractor has completed constructing all ramps. However, we will be reworking several ramps based on feedback from City staff and neighbors to improve the finish and slopes. The ramps will be reworked this week.
3/11/19 - Contractor has started work by removing concrete sidewalks and forming up new ramps.
02/27/19 - The City entered into a contract with 4-Belt Concrete and Masonry to complete the work by April 30, 2019.
01/08/19 - A contractor has been selected. City is negotiating the contract and selecting a start date for work.
11/13/18 - The project was advertised on the City's bid website as a "Request for Quotes". This intermediate procurement period ends on 11/30/2018.
