Public Works

The Transportation System Plan was authorized by the City to address the needs of the transportation system over the next 20 years. It is designed to help in establishing a capital improvement and capital maintenance plan for the transportation system. The report provides descriptions of the recommended improvements and an opinion of probable project cost for each item. For the current plan, the pedestrian portion of the plan was completed in November of 1998, and the street portion was completed in July of 2000.

A Public Works Permit is required prior to performing work in any public right-of-way or public utility easement. If work is also planned on private property, then a separate Building Permit must be obtained through the Building Division.

This September 23 meeting was moved from September 9. Transportation Advisory Board meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month.
