Willamette Main Street Meeting

Willamette Main Street Minutes Attendees: Ruth Offer, Shannen Knight, Diane Bays, Midge Pierce, Miles McCoy Minutes: With only a few board members available, this mid-winter meeting  dealt with a single topic, Farmer’s Market. Shannen updated the group on the extensive research she has done on contracts, websites, vendor applications, manager salaries, responsibilities, accountability and expectations.  Action to date: The promo committee has determined that Thursday is the optimal day for the market to avoid competition with Oregon City.

PURPOSE:

West Linn's Economic Development Committee (EDC) functions to advocate for the business community, make recommendations on economic development issues and assist the City in promoting a pro-business environment in West Linn.

In June 2023, the Economic Development Committee adopted a work plan for FY24-25. You can read the work plan here.

West Linn Announces CPP Grant Opportunity for Tourism-Related Projects

WEST LINN – Public, private, and non-profit organizations are invited to submit applications to receive a grant for projects that will promote tourism in West Linn.  Clackamas County Tourism and Cultural Affairs have awarded grant money to the City of West Linn through the County’s Community Partnership Program (CPP).  The grant money is to provide funding for tourism-related projects that have the potential to become significant and self-sustaining; that are aligned with the economic development goals of the City; and have the ability to recognize or demonstrate a return on investment.  Gr
