Join us for another celebration of fantasy, sci-fi, comics, fandoms, and everything in between!
Every fall, we take a week to celebrate the library's close tie with those nerdy subcultures and everyone who enjoys them! This year's Library Comic-Con - retooled lovingly as Nerd-Con - takes place from November 1st to November 5th. Check our website and social media for reading recommendations and activities throughout the week and then mark your calendars for Thursday, November 5th, when we'll hold our Nerd-Con Takeover Event!
Nerd-Con 2026 Library Takeover!
Save the date for our sixth annual Nerd-Con Library Takeover event! It will be happening November 5th from 5pm to 7pm throughout the library. There will be prizes, free comic books, Pokemon card trading , Lego space races, and Mario Kart challenges. We will also have our first ever Little Free Artist Alley (details below)! So come as you are or in costume for a night of good, nerdy fun!
Little Free Artist Alley
Local artists, ages 12 and up and welcome to apply for table space at our Little Free Artist Alley! As the name implies, nothing will be for sale, but we encourage giveaways or activities for those coming to see your work. Space is limited, so apply HERE! Please apply by October 15th.
